The TC52-HC has very sensitive high-volume speakers, which filter out disturbing ambient noise during conversations – which is very important for first-aid responders on-site, or in the hospital. The DNA application »Workforce Connect« convinces with its push-to-talk function for the instant voice transmission to user groups. Service extensions offer PTT between individuals and a secure short message service, whose dictionary is customisable and knows technical terms.

In the healthcare sector the quick data capture of the TC52-HC gives doctors and medical staff valuable time: thanks to the pre-installed DNA application »SimulScan«, the mobile touch computer reads printed and electronic 1D, 2D and Digimarc barcodes, signatures and document contents with just one click. The scan keys are located on both sides, and thereby are also ergonomically placed for left-handers. Two additional soft keys allow for personal quick access to important functions.

With the TC52-HC, data may be transmitted up to twice as fast, thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 – within a radius of up to 240 m. Connectivity via the latest WLAN technology (2x2 MU-MIMO) also works like a dream.

The Android operating system, combined with a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB memory provide excellent performance. The TC52-HC is equipped with a 5 megapixel front camera which provides a very detailed picture during video calls. Also, it is VLC-capable (Visible Light Communication). The rear 13 megapixel camera is ideal for documentation purposes.

The TC52-HC may be integrated into existing systems and is backwards compatible with the accessories of the predecessor models. It is very robust, is certified according to IP65 and MIL-STD-810G standards and is impact-resistant from from 1.2 m.
