Getac has announced that SD and microSD card slots will be eliminated from all of the company's robust notebooks and tablets beginning on the 5th of March 2021. Other options or performance features are not affected by this change.

The following Getac devices are specifically affected:
- A140: A140 G2
- B360: B360, B360Pro and B300G7
- F110: F110 G5 and F110-EX G5
- K120: K120 and K120-EX
- S410: S410 G4
- T800: T800 G2 and T800-EX G2
- UX10: UX10, UX10-EX, UX10-IP, UX10G2 and UX10 G2-EX
- V110: V110 G5 and V110 G6
- X500: X500 G3
- X500 Server: X500 G3 Server
