Description
The KDC480 and KDC485 are robust barcode scanners from KOAMTAC, featuring a modular design. Their special housing allows them to connect to any smart device, turning them into an intelligent SmartSled solution. Plus, both the KDC480 and KDC485 capture RFID tags on demand and are available with different scan engines: a 1D laser, 1D CCD or 2D imager. The KDC485 also has a downward angled scan engine which allows users to capture barcodes at low heights, even when always holding the scanner at one level.
When designing the KDC480 and KDC485, KOAMTAC placed great emphasis on strong technology as well as a robust housing with IP65 certification to ensure the barcode scanners offer a long service life. The 1,100 mAh battery also guarantees a long runtime and may optionally be recharged with compatible SmartSleds from KOAMTAC. To store the captured barcodes, the scanners are equipped with 64 KB RAM and 8MB ROM. Easy pairing and reliable data transmission is ensured by Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
