In order to make it possible to combine almost all intelligent devices (such as a smart watch or smart glasses) with the KDC470 and KDC475 scanners, KOAMTAC has equipped them with a specially designed housing. This technically advanced, modular design allows the devices to be easily upgraded without changing the scanning characteristics.

Further equipment of the scanners includes a powerful 1,130 mAh lithium-ion battery that is easily charged via the micro USB connection or via the charging station. Additionally, KOAMTAC offers an innovative charging case - so that users remain ready to go almost always and everywhere with the scanners. The memory capacity includes 64 KB RAM and 8 MB flash ROM. Interfaces include Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR (Class 2), Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 (BLE), micro USB, USB type C and serial.

Both the KDC470 and KDC475 are compatible with a broad range of devices that are easily connected. Plus, many accessories are available, including an HF reader, a 0.5 and 1.0 W UHF reader, a pistol grip, a 2,000 mAh expansion battery, and an mPOS device.
