The Honeywell IH45 handheld RFID reader enables fast and accurate UHF RFID inventory capture in retail, transportation, logistics and supply chain applications. Among other things, it helps transport and logistics workers instantly capture information about incoming shipments and identify the correct destination dock. With the tag finder mode, it is even possible to pinpoint the location of a specific parcel, pallet or carton.
The IH45 is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery that is easy to insert and replace without tools. When the reader is connected to a compatible Honeywell mobile computer via the USB port, there is no need to remove the mobile computer for this operation. The IH45 charging cradle charges both the reader and the mobile computer, so only one charging cradle is needed. When paired with a Honeywell mobile computer, the easy-to-use and ergonomically balanced IH45 offers fast and accurate UHF RFID inventory capture as well as convenient built-in 1D/2D barcode functionality.
