The industrial desktop label printer CL-S531II from Citizen impresses with its attractive price-performance ratio and its modern printing functions. It has a large media capacity and accepts rolls up to 5 inches (127 mm) in size. Its maximum print speed is 4 inches per second – the equivalent of 100 millimetres per second. Moreover, since the printer uses direct thermal printing with coated media, it does not require a ribbon.
Another advantage of the CL-S531II is its robust, durable construction and user-friendly design. Its space-saving Hi-Open housing, featuring the proven Citizen Hi-Lift all-metal mechanism, integrated peeler and easy-access paper feed, opens upwards so that the printer's footprint always remains the same. In addition, the CL-S531II features USB 2.0 and RS-232C as well as cross emulation. The latter enables fully automatic switching between Datamax, EPL2, ZPL2 and CBI printer languages.
