Description
Citizen has developed its CT-E601 direct thermal receipt printer with the high demands of high traffic areas such as retail, hospitality, healthcare or ticketing in mind. Its housing resists the aggressive chemicals of disinfectants and protects itself from germs and bacteria – the smooth surface ensures that bacteria and germs have no place to settle. Accordingly, the printer meets ISO 22196 requirements and carries the SIAA mark.
In addition to its durable housing and space-saving design, the CT-E601 also impresses with its high print performance: its maximum print speed is up to 350 mm/sec. at a consistently good resolution of 203 dpi. For easy and quick status monitoring, Citizen has equipped it with a paper jam sensor and a paper end sensor. Furthermore, it has a convenient drop-in paper feed for easy media change and a paper exit on the top. This is particularly ideal for retail POS, because it allows both the cashier and the customer to access the receipt.
