Whether in the retail, logistics, transportation, pharmacy or hospitality industry, the Datalogic Gryphon I GM4500 is everyone's favorite, thanks to its proactive scanning capabilities. The handheld scanner fits just as good in the left as in the right hand, impresses with an elegant design, is intuitive to use and convinces with its inner values!
The Gryphon is equipped with a new wireless charging function which allows the barcode scanner to be charged quickly and easily via induction. Since it has no charging port, it is less fragile and more durable. Scanned data is transmitted wirelessly via narrow band radio, thanks to Datalogic's Star Cordless System.
The Gryphon scans 1D, 2D and optionally also Digimarc barcodes at a rapid speed - and with eye-friendly, white backlighting. This type of illumination is better for reading low-contrast, colored barcodes. The Gryphon has a very high depth of field, with which it also captures poorly readable or damaged barcodes in no time. Thanks to Datalogic Motionix motion sensors, it automatically switches during scanning between the scan mode currently needed in handheld mode or in the stand.
The barcode scanner is particularly robust, thanks to its IP52 certification and resistance to falls from heights of up to 1.8 m. Its charging/transfer station has a multi-interface with USB, RS-232 and a keyboard wedge.
