The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK A3 is the ideal fully ruggedized tablet for the use in field service, transport, logistics and industry. It has a 10.1" WUXGA display with an anti-reflective surface – so content is easy to read, even outdoors. Excellent performance is ensured by an upgradeable Android operating system, a Qualcomm SDM660 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB memory.
Panasonic has designed the TOUGHBOOK A3 for use in all lighting conditions and all types of weather. It is water- and dust-resistant according to its IP65 certification, as well as impact-resistant from 1.5 metres. It offers mobile workers flexible port options for demanding tasks in the field. Additionally, they have access to WLAN, LTE (optional), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (optional) and NFC for data transfer and communication, as well as a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash for picture taking and live chat.
The fully ruggedized tablet has a battery life of 9 hours via the 2 x 3,200 mAh hot swappable battery, with an optional 2 x 5,580 mAh battery available with a runtime of up to 15.5 hours. The TOUGHBOOK A3 is also equipped with ARM TrustZone security technology and supports Panasonic COMPASS 2.0, the suite of enterprise tools for TOUGHBOOK devices running the Android operating system.
